Trish is Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Senior Underwriting Counsel for National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) with national underwriting authority. In addition to her underwriting responsibilities, Trish is also a Commercial Sales Representative. She began her legal career over 25 years ago, handling title and real estate transactions for several law firms in Boston, as well as in Atlanta.
Prior to joining Old Republic, Trish served as Senior Underwriting Counsel with two large national title insurance companies, both having operations in Boston. She coordinated multi-state and multi-site commercial real estate transactions and analyzed title insurance coverages for purchasers and lenders, in addition to negotiating ultra-hazardous risk coverages.
Trish is a graduate of New England Law in Boston and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. She held the position of Adjunct Professor of Legal Research and Writing at New England Law, and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.
Bringing more than 25 years of commercial title industry experience, Greg joined Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) in 2016 as Senior Vice President, ORNTIC and Manager of the Chicago National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) operation.
With deep industry knowledge and a reputation for providing exceptional customer service, Greg leads a highly experienced and talented team of title, escrow and underwriting specialists in providing the transactional expertise required to close complex commercial transactions involving a wide range of industries across the country. In addition, he directs the operation’s national business development initiatives for expanding Old Republic’s national commercial footprint.
Prior to joining Old Republic Title, Greg held positions as senior national counsel and area manager of commercial divisions in Chicago and Indianapolis with another major national underwriter. Greg earned his Juris Doctorate from Hasting College of the Law in San Francisco, CA after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA.
Jonathan is a Commercial Counsel for the National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) Chicago operation, where he underwrites title insurance policy coverages for commercial real estate transactions including complex high-liability, multi-site, multi-state portfolios. In this role, he negotiates title policy and endorsement coverages in connection with the acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing, refinancing and construction financing of a wide variety of commercial real property assets.
Jonathan serves as a resource for customers regarding all facets of title insurance, title curative and real estate settlement matters. In addition, he offers guidance to internal staff, leads department underwriting meetings and presents on a myriad of title insurance industry topics.
Prior to joining NCTS in 2019, Jonathan acted as Underwriting Counsel and Title Department Manager of a Chicago-based title agency. Jonathan also practiced as an associate of a Chicago-based law firm representing national lenders and loan servicers in default litigation and related matters.
Heather R. Schuette is Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Senior Underwriting Counsel for the National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) operation in Chicago, Illinois. In her role she focuses on the underwriting of title insurance policy and endorsement coverages for complex single and multi-site commercial real estate transactions for properties located throughout the United States, participates in the training and development of junior underwriters and assists other senior-level underwriters with risk evaluation and resolution of complicated title issues.
Heather has over 18 years of experience in the title insurance industry, including underwriting and claims/litigation administration. Prior to joining Old Republic National Title, she spent over 14 years as commercial underwriting counsel for another major national title insurer. In addition to underwriting title insurance policies issued directly by the title insurer, Heather has also handled risk analysis and approval of high-liability policies issued by commercial title insurance agents located around the country, giving her unique insight and perspective into both sides of the title industry.
Heather is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. She is a member of the Title Counsel Committee and ALTA/NSPS Survey Work Group for the American Land Title Association, and an active participant of the Illinois Land Title Association and former member of its Board of Directors.
Alex is a Commercial Counsel with the Chicago office of National Commercial Title Services (NCTS). He underwrites title insurance policy coverages for commercial real estate transactions including complex high-liability, multi-site, multi-state portfolios. In his role, Alex is a title and underwriting resource for our valued customers. In addition to providing guidance to customers, he offers advisement to internal staff on underwriting and settlement matters and presents on various title insurance related topics.
With more than ten years of experience in the real estate, financing and commercial title insurance industries, Alex is licensed to practice law in Florida and Wisconsin. He maintains roles with the states’ Young Lawyer’s Divisions and volunteers his expertise as a board member for his condominium association. In his free time Alex enjoys woodworking and trying to lower his handicap back to his college golfing days.
Susan is Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Lex Terrae National Title Services. In her role, Susan manages the Hoboken, NJ office of the National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) Division of ORNTIC.
Serving more than 25 years in the industry, Susan brings a wealth of transactional, legal and practical experience to her position. She is responsible for managing and coordinating national commercial transactions across the country, as well as shepherding complex title underwriting and escrow matters for large multi-site, multi-state portfolios and other high liability projects.
Susan is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Law and is a member of both the New Jersey State Bar Association and New York Bar Association.
As Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Commercial Counsel for National Commercial Title Services (NCTS), Lauren manages the National Energy Title Services Division which provides energy companies, commercial investors and financial institutions with specialized underwriting and closing services required for their transactions throughout the United States.
Previously serving as Associate General Counsel and Real Estate Project Counsel for national companies that invest in and develop utility scale solar farms, wind farms and gas-fired power plants, Lauren understands the unique title insurance and project management requirements of the energy industry.
Lauren is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and the Dickinson School of Law. She has practiced law for over 20 years, including holding positions in several law firms in New York and Texas, where she represented developers and commercial clients. Lauren is a member of the Texas Bar Association is a requested speaker and presenter for various energy industry programs.
Matthew (“Matt”) joined the Old Republic National Commercial Title Services Energy Division in 2017, where he specializes in the areas of title examination, risk mitigation, guidance on endorsements, and the interaction between severed mineral rights and the development of utility scale renewable energy projects throughout the United States.
Matt began his career as a field landman, working in courthouses throughout Texas and Arkansas, ultimately making the transition to title and transactional attorney in early 2007. Matt worked in private practice serving the oil and gas industry for many years before expanding his practice in 2014 to act as outside counsel for renewable energy companies. He has extensive experience representing both oil and gas exploration and renewable energy companies in all aspects of their development projects, including title examination, due diligence, leasehold and easement acquisition, drafting transactional agreements, and navigating state and federal regulatory issues.
Matt is a native Texan and a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution (Engineering Technology). He subsequently earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas.
Paul is Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and serves as an Underwriter and Commercial Closer in the National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) Las Vegas office. In his position, he also manages the NCTS Las Vegas operation and is responsible for directing the full scope of services necessary to close complex transactions for varied commercial industries across the United States.
With more than 40 years of experience in the title insurance business, Paul began his career in northern California as a title operations manager and underwriter. In 1985 he relocated to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area as an underwriter and commercial closer working for major national title insurers. In 2006 Paul returned to the West and relocated to Las Vegas. He joined Old Republic Title’s NCTS operation there in 2009.
Paul is respected for his deep technical knowledge, prowess with Excel and expertise in training and transaction process management. He is a member of the California Bar Association, and enjoys jogging, spending time with his grandchildren and dining at upscale buffets on the Las Vegas Strip.
Richard serves as Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC), President, Lex Terrae National Title Services, and Manager of the National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) New York operation. His responsibilities include oversight of 2 additional NCTS offices in the Eastern region of the country, providing national underwriting support, and directing his offices’ national business development activities in support of expanding Old Republic’s business in the national commercial title insurance market.
With a respected career of more than 40 years in the title insurance industry, Richard has participated in the leadership and daily operations of large independent and national title companies. Joining Old Republic Title in conjunction with a 2002 Company merger, he concentrates his efforts and those of his teams on providing superior customer service in closing multi-site, multi-state portfolios, high-liability transactions, and other complex and unique projects in a variety of commercial segments across the United States. Richard is a member of many professional groups and associations.
Jack Feirman serves as Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Senior Underwriting Counsel of the National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) New York operation. He is an accomplished attorney with over 40 years in private practice as a partner in two New York City law firms with extensive experience in real estate finance, development of commercial and multifamily projects construction and leasing. Jack is an honor graduate of Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts in history and attended the Harvard Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor graduating cum laude.
With more than 45 years of title insurance industry experience, Mike Choy serves as Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Manager of the National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) San Diego operation. His responsibilities include oversight of 4 additional NCTS offices in the Western region of the country, providing national underwriting support, and directing the Company’s Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) insurance services.
Mike has a respected breadth of expertise gleaned from the title insurance professions that he has held over the course of his notable career with major regional and national title insurers. His roles have included those of branch manager; senior underwriting; local and regional operations management inclusive of closing and settlement services; UCC insurance services; title operations; and claims administration. Prior to joining Old Republic Title, Mike held the role of Manager and Senior Underwriter in the National Title Division of another major title insurance company where he also started a UCC Division.
Mike’s interests are travel, movies and golf, and he was previously a member of the California Land Title Association (CLTA) Education, Claims Awareness and Legislative Committees.
Stephen serves as Senior Vice President of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC), and Manager and Underwriter of the National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) San Francisco operation. Prior to joining Old Republic Title, Stephen was Senior Vice President for a national commercial division of another large national title insurance underwriter.
In his role, Stephen leads the San Francisco team in facilitating national commercial title and escrow transactions throughout the United States for apartment, retail, industrial, office and other industry sectors. The operation also includes a specialized service team that manages Small Balance Loan (SBL) transactions. Leveraging his extensive experience in national business development, commercial transaction management and underwriting, Stephen is focusing the NCTS team’s efforts around expanding Old Republic’s national commercial footprint through exceptional product quality and service delivery.
Stephen has more than 30 years of combined experience in sales, marketing and management, and is the recipient of the prestigious DPK Circle of Excellence Award, the Platinum Circle Sales Award and numerous honors in sales leadership. He is a member of NAIOP, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and actively supports Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). When not at work you can find him spending time with family and enjoying time outdoors four wheeling and camping.
Wilhelmina is a Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and General Counsel for National Commercial Title Services (NCTS), providing legal counsel for NCTS and its commercial transactions. She brings over 25 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney and underwriter to the NCTS team.
Wilhelmina joined Old Republic Title as Florida Commercial Underwriting Counsel in 2009 and was a Senior National Underwriting Counsel in the Corporate Legal Department before joining the NCTS division. Prior to joining the Company, she was a partner for one of the largest international law firms in the world, concentrating her practice in real estate acquisitions, sales and development, and commercial lending.
Wilhelmina is a graduate of the University of South Florida and earned her Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law. She is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), Chair of the Special Investors and Investments Structure Group of the Real Property Trust and Estate Law Section of the American Bar Association, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Executive Council of the Florida Bar Section of Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law.
As Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Senior Underwriting Counsel for Old Republic National Commercial Title Services (NCTS), Susan provides underwriting counsel to NCTS personnel and customers throughout the nation. An attorney with more than 25 years of experience, she has a broad commercial real estate and title underwriting background.
Prior to her role with NCTS, Susan served ORNTIC as Florida Commercial Services Counsel and supervised the Tampa Commercial Services Department. Before joining Old Republic Title, she was a commercial real estate attorney with a multi-national law firm and a prominent Tampa-based law firm, both which are known for handling complex commercial real estate transactions. In her earlier career, Susan was Commercial Services Representative and Underwriting Counsel for an international title insurance underwriter and worked for a multi-national Fortune 100 technology company where she negotiated commercial contracts.
Susan is a member of the Florida Bar and is actively involved in its Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section (RPPTL), where she participates in the Commercial Real Estate and Title Insurance Committees. She served as a member of the RPPTL Executive Council and was an At Large Member for the 13th Judicial Circuit. Susan earned the honor of At Large Member of the Year for 2018-2019. She is a graduate of Stetson College of Law and has spoken at various seminars on title insurance, commercial real estate transactions and construction liens.
