As Senior Vice President and Associate Director of National Commercial Title Services (NCTS), David was hired by Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) in 2013 to help lead the effort to grow national commercial business. He has over 30 years of experience in various title insurance and other industry leadership roles.

Prior to joining Old Republic Title, David served as Senior Vice President and Associate National Commercial Division Director for another major title insurance underwriter which grew fourfold during his tenure. Earlier in his career, David held CFO positions at two companies as well as other title insurance industry positions.

David is a CPA and has an undergraduate business degree from Southwest Texas State University and an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute. He is involved in several industry organizations including International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC), National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), and actively supports Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Houston.

Kathy brings more than 25 years of strategy-to-execution success across a diverse business spectrum to Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC). In her role as Vice President, ORNTIC and National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) Administrative Manager, Kathy is responsible for the implementation of strategic directives and operational initiatives supporting the administrative, technical and marketing/business development services of NCTS.

Prior to joining NCTS, Kathy served for 16 years as Vice President, Administrative Operations Director for the national division of a global title insurance and real estate services company. During her tenure the division realized extensive growth in operations and financial performance. In addition, Kathy has previously led the Contracts and Sales Administration departments of a software development firm, and most recently held the position of Human Resources Manager-North America for a global oil and gas offshore services company.

As Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Commercial Counsel for National Commercial Title Services (NCTS), Lauren manages the National Energy Title Services Division which provides energy companies, commercial investors and financial institutions with specialized underwriting and closing services required for their transactions throughout the United States.

Previously serving as Associate General Counsel and Real Estate Project Counsel for national companies that invest in and develop utility scale solar farms, wind farms and gas-fired power plants, Lauren understands the unique title insurance and project management requirements of the energy industry.

Lauren is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and the Dickinson School of Law. She has practiced law for over 20 years, including holding positions in several law firms in New York and Texas, where she represented developers and commercial clients. Lauren is a member of the Texas Bar Association is a requested speaker and presenter for various energy industry programs.

Matthew (“Matt”) joined the Old Republic National Commercial Title Services Energy Division in 2017, where he specializes in the areas of title examination, risk mitigation, guidance on endorsements, and the interaction between severed mineral rights and the development of utility scale renewable energy projects throughout the United States.

Matt began his career as a field landman, working in courthouses throughout Texas and Arkansas, ultimately making the transition to title and transactional attorney in early 2007. Matt worked in private practice serving the oil and gas industry for many years before expanding his practice in 2014 to act as outside counsel for renewable energy companies. He has extensive experience representing both oil and gas exploration and renewable energy companies in all aspects of their development projects, including title examination, due diligence, leasehold and easement acquisition, drafting transactional agreements, and navigating state and federal regulatory issues.

Matt is a native Texan and a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution (Engineering Technology). He subsequently earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas.

Jan has more than 35 years of experience in the title insurance and banking industries and has worked with all sectors of the commercial real estate industry, including lenders, developers, REITs, attorneys and brokers. As Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and National Commercial Title Representative, Jan serves as an advocate for her customers, drawing on the depth and breadth of her industry experience, and as a liaison between her customer and the industry’s leading title, escrow, and underwriting experts at Old Republic Title.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and English from the University of Mississippi, where she was a Carrier and University Scholar. Jan is an active member of numerous industry related organizations, including Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network, CREW Houston, CREW Utah, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI). She also serves on the Board of Directors of Be An Angel Fund and on the Leadership Council for the Sally M. Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi.
